Segarini: Don’t Believe a Word I Say – The Bobcast – UPDATE!
Well, this is an unusual column for a bunch of reasons.
2. It took me forever to do this because I might be an idiot.
3. We’re hoping all our Toronto friends can join us for this.
4. If you’re in town for CMW and arrive on the 18th, please join us.
5. I wonder if anybody else works at home in their underwear….

UPDATE!
For those of you who haven’t, (or can’t) access the video below, here’s all the information you need to join us for the recording of our first Podcast…
Segarini: Don’t Believe a Word I Say – The Bobcast
Why do these damn things take so much longer to do than I think they will?
I mean, I’ve started this thing so many times, It feels like Groundhog Day The Movie in here.
Anyway, I promised you a Big Announcement and here it is…
Starting this coming Monday, March 18th, 2013…
…we will be recording a weekly Podcast unlike any other.
We will be shooting for something similar to the old Johnny Carson Tonight Show…
Only it will just be me and a bunch of my talented friends…and you listen instead of watch…
…unless you’re here with us for the recording.
And, we want YOU to be in the audience when we record these podcasts!
Here’s the deal…
Please join me, Bob “The Always Late” Segarini and my sidekick, Roxanne Tellier…
…and the DBAWIS house band, Xprime…
…Our first musical guest, Tom Wilson and Lee Harvey Osmond…
…Plus special guests, director Colin Brunton, discussing his latest film “The Last Pogo Jumps again”…
…Greg Simpson previewing Canadian Music Week which starts on March 19th…
A few surprises…and a great venue where you can enjoy the proceedings.
I might even sing a song or two with Xprime…probably.
This Monday, March 18th at Cherry Cola’s Rock and Rolla Cabaret and Lounge
200 Bathurst Street, just North of Queen Street West In the heart of downtown Toronto
Look for the red door and chandelier
Doors are at 8:00 pm and there is limited seating.
Great beverages at reasonable prices and it looks like some very special food may be available as well
No cover, but donations toward keeping DBAWIS going are welcome.
Both the Bathurst streetcar and Queen Streetcar stop at the corner.
So you can leave your car home.
We record between 9 pm and 10 pm, but the party will continue as long as you like afterward. At least until midnight.
…but you can still make it an early evening if you’re old and cranky…like me.
Monday night, March 18th at 8 pm…
…Bob, Roxanne, Xprime, Tom Wilson and Lee Harvey Osmond, Greg Simpson, and Colin Brunton…and a couple of surprises.
Email me at segarini@rogers.com if you would like to get on our mailing list and other perks. You can also make reservations by emailing us.
See you Monday night for the first Don’t Believe a Word I say: The Bobcast.
