The Corona School of Writing, Weinhard’s Private Reserve, record labels (major and independent) and just about everyone I have ever really known. So I sit here quaffing the ice cold Weinhard, waiting for that writing buzz and wondering where I will go with this because I have no real idea where I am going, only where I have been. I have been lucky, lucky like I cannot believe, but not lucky of my own making. I have been surrounded by good people— no, people more than good— and it is time I pay tribute to those and those things which have made me who I am.

I’m not really sure what to do short of listening to Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber simultaneously, or maybe at the same time. I noticed it the other night when I was doing some research. Every time I poured info in, it leaked out. Radio charts, rock ‘n’ roll history, new artists, digital distribution buffoonery— no matter what, it wouldn’t take! So I guess you’ll have to take potluck this week. Maybe I can catch a few mental morsels to print here before the skull empties. Speaking of empties, I’m a bit short this week. Anybody got any pop bottles or beer cans I can recycle?

They will supposedly be playing Slabtown April 5th, though I do not see it listed on that venue’s site schedule, so I am keeping my options open for a long drive. Would I miss it? Only by the act mentioned beforehand.
