I AM SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!! So many changes and new roads to travel. New challenges….a thrilling ride ahead. Loads of work too but I’m pumped. As the weeks progress I’ll fill you in. In the meantime, there’s Indie Week Canada 2015 Part Two to wrap up. …and yes….I’m still “squirreling” and driving my son nuts…. So….. where were we?
I was overwhelmed with what CMW had to offer. So much to see and do, so many contacts to make, so much to learn and waaaay too many clubs to hit. Impossible in ten days but we all do our very best.
Music’s a funny thing; sometimes a song will hide in the grooves of an album, unloved and unwanted, until someone uncovers the gem and makes it their own. A struggling songwriter may dream of the day that a megastar covers their work; in the right hands, a number one hit can make the writer a fortune in publishing.
