I’m taking a stand – against those who claim ethically superior principles based solely on their religious beliefs.  I’m sick of the mealy mouthed and the self-righteous who feel free to condemn everyone around them for not toeing some invisible moral line. Enough with placating the unplacatable; no one alive completely exemplifies what it is to be good in the eyes of all. Only the dead attain that status, and even then, usually only through memories conveniently fortified with whitewash, amnesia, and mawkish sentimentality.

But it’s getting harder and harder to trust that the Trudeau government has any intention of following through on promises to legalize, regulate, and restrict marijuana use, medically or recreationally.

Roxanne DBAWISEvery generation believes they are the first to discover sex and drugs. (Rock ‘n Roll got added in the fifties.) Certainly the sixties were ‘high times’ – it was pretty rare for most of us not to have at least tried a puff or two. I’ve never been much of a pot smoker; just never got the same buzz as others did. But I’ve never really thought that weed or hash was a big deal, especially for adults. One man’s scotch is another man’s joint, to me.
