Tuesdays are “writing day”…..supposedly. Then all hell breaks loose. Why can’t it be on Monday, or even Wednesday AFTER I’ve filed my column? Deep breath…..inhale. It’s the exhale I sometimes forget. Okay, crank up the music. Ah, there’s nothing a little two-step around the kitchen floor that won’t cure whatever ails ya. ….and breathe….. Way behind on photo reviews and albums, so much to do, so little time. …and now for the column, something a little different.

If ignored, Lord F pounces on little Jay, my delicate flower of a girl cat. Since he outweighs her by 10
pounds, and she can’t stand him, a classic cat fight, complete with Siamese screams, ensues, and I’m getting up, damnit, like it or not.
But the crazy thing about the Jay/Lord F battles is that, once physically separated, the tiny Jay will then search the house to find him. It’s a classic “good girl” love/hate relationship with a “bad boy.”
Cameron Carpenter: The ABC’s Of Rock – Q
Posted in Opinion with tags Amos the Transparent, Cameron Carpenter, Dave Edmunfs, DBAWIS, Don't Believe a Word I Say, Ecstasy, NXNE Film, Queen, Shanghai Cowgirl, Suzi Quatro, The Runaways on January 19, 2012 by segariniMichigan’s Suzi Quatro, part of a very musical family including her father Art, brother Michael and sister Patti (she was in Fanny), moved to England in 1971 to find her fame and fortune. Standing just five feet tall and playing a bass that weighed half of what she did Suzi found a new musical family, Mickie Most, Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman. Most was a well know record producer with credits that included The Animals and Jeff Beck and Chinn/Chapman were writing hit after glam rock hit for the likes of The Sweet and Mud. It was a match made in heaven.
