No, I’m not running for Mayor…too much history of missteps, tom foolery, sex, drugs, and rock and roll. I would make the Fords look like Dominican Monks. However, I am hoping that someday we will get a Mayor who loves this city as much as you and I do.

I have lived on a beautiful, quiet, residential street in Scarborough for 15 years this month. Up the street, just a stagger away, is a busy local pub called the Black Dog, where I’ve seen many a friend play, and drank many a cold pint.

Roxanne Tellier – Under My Wheels

Posted in Opinion with tags , , , , , , , on May 5, 2013 by segarini

roxsepia2Just before we started taping the Bobcast last week, I was telling our producer, Brian Jedan, about a friend of mine who used to volunteer at “Meals Without Wheels.” Apparently that’s not what it’s called.

You see, the whole driving thing, cars, and all that … it’s a different world for me. I’ve been around vehicles all of my life, I can even convert miles to kilometers, almost … but driving is just not something I’ve ever mastered.
