How have you been?
I have been up and down like a newlywed couple on a waterbed.
I have been swamped, smothered, over-run, -whelmed, and -worked, by bugs, buds, business, bullshit, and buttheads.
I have experienced high-highs and low-lows, because Life is NOT a Highway …Life is a Rollercoaster.
I’ve been slowly re-imbedding myself into the Dante’s Inferno that is the current music industry with a focus on promoting good, new music [see some of my previous blogs for my recommendations] cause, let’s face it, talking about the mistakes the labels made over the last decade is like discussing that guy at Decca Records that passed on The Beatles [his name was Dick Rowe and he made up for the faux pas by later signing the Rolling Stones].
Wellllllll……all I can say is “I was there”. Up in the nosebleeds with the rest of the folks in the so-called “cheap seats”. My date for the evening and I had a direct aim at the stage(s), perfect viewing. I have no idea what you couch potatoes were seeing at various stages of the programme, but it was definitely different from the TV version.
Happy Easter to everyone no matter how you celebrate it. If you’re a strictly by ‘The Book’ follower of the chronicles of Jesus than this is a weekend of mixed blessings (death, resurrection, Cadbury’s chocolate). If you’re a non-believer you too have a weekend of mixed blessings (in-laws, hockey playoffs, Cadbury’s chocolate).
This week the Rock Goddess and I made the decision to dump our TV cable subscription. Since work on my Encyclopedias began in earnest in the summer of 2011 I’ve spent less time in front of the Boob Tube and almost all 
my time online – Facebook, YouTube, etc. It’s an issue of time, really. Following the release of my books I’ve been (mostly) employed and fully engaged in putting food on the table and falling asleep – often while waiting for the food to come to the table. Similarly, the Rock Goddess.
